They say that rain is a sign of good luck.  Even though it was a rainy start-up all students had a great first day and got to their respective classes without delay.  While there were a few tears in the morning with our youngest students, they quickly disappeared.  Thank you to our parent community for getting your children so well prepared for their first day of school.

Today we have sent home with each child a Data Verification form, Notification and Permission for the Use of Student Personal Information, a welcome letter from Ms. McNabb and school council election information.  Please read through, sign and return the first two forms as soon as possible – ideally tomorrow.  If you wish to nominate someone for our school council executive, please return the blue form as well.  School Planner information will come home shortly.

Also, please make sure that you take the time to look at the School Year Information folder posted on this website.  It includes a welcome letter from our director and chairperson, school year calendar, board expectations, school safety which also includes the student accident insurance form, parent involvement and busing information.  We no longer provide this information in paper copies as we have typically done on the first day of school.
